Lab 11

Note for Future Students

Since I spent way too long debugging this lab, here's a piece of advice: if you are 100% confident that both your Arduino and your Python code are correct AND you have triple checked with the teaching team-- try changing your ToF sensor OR borrowing a friend's robot... Also ensure that you're in long-distance mode for your sensor... I hope all y'all don't suffer as much as I did to find this fix :)) Good luck!!

Below is a video of my robot rotating on-axis. I had recently changed the battery for this run so my robot runs a lot quicker than it was usually going. The robot starts at 0 degress, then goes to 180 degrees and then goes back to 20 degrees, which is a bug I couldn't fix. The ToF data seems to be working well as shown in the report above, but I will look into this awkward rotation more in Lab 12.

Next is a video of Becky's robot rotating on-axis with my code flashed onto it.

See report above for all other sections!
